Jon Crane Painting Unveiled
"South Dakota Legacy" was unveiled at a reception at Heron's Flight Studio in Rapid City. This beautiful watercolor of the South Dakota Capitol was created by Hill City artist Jon Crane for the Capitol Centennial Art Show - Capturing South Dakota Heritage and History.
The print size is 20 inches by 15 inches and depicts the exterior of the Capitol on a winter's day, complete with waterfowl swimming in Capitol Lake. That's Jon pictured with the painting at the unveiling.
Limited edition prints (1,910 prints) sell for $100 each. A total of 191 artist proofs are available at $150 each.
The 100 commemorative prints sell for $200 each.
